Gardenique was born from a love of designing small urban gardens and styling outdoor spaces.  Having rented various houses & apartments around the world for the last 10 years, and experimenting with balconies, courtyards & small gardens I realised that there must be so many other renters & owners alike out there who don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a designer nor have the time or know how to make the most of their outdoor space.  I want to make amazing outdoor design accessible and affordable for everyone and not just something for affluent home owners.

Whether its breathing new life into a tired courtyard or a total re-vamp of a small urban garden, I love nothing more than designing and styling outdoor spaces so that they become an extension of your home and a place you love to be.  With a nerdy knowledge of outdoor trends, furniture, cushions & accessories and a previous career in landscape architecture, I can help you update your space with the Outdoor Styling service or start from scratch and create a Landscape Plan with our Garden Design service.

I’m very passionate about the e-Design offering which allows me to help with gardens all over Australia.  E-design is a fun, simple way of picking my brains for your outdoor space.  You send me some photos and measurements, and I will send you mood boards, a layout plan, source guide (online & local) and a little maintenance plan (remember plants need a bit of love!).

I have a Bachelor degree in Built Environment Landscape Architecture and have worked in Australia, throughout Asia & Europe at leading Architectural practices.  My time in South East Asia and working on luxury hotels in particular gave me an insight into high-end design, aesthetics and styling techniques that I now use with residential clients.  Self confessed outdoor design obsessive, you can find me on weekends trawling garden nurseries for even more succulents, indulging in my pinterest addiction, or studying the garden section of design magazines.  I love Instagram, Bali, mid-century design, Acapulco chairs, vertical gardens and succulents!
